A structure must meet specific criteria established by the global body known as the “Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat” to qualify as one of the tallest in the world. The structure must also have livable space inside it that extends at least halfway up its height.
Buildings that do not meet this requirement of “CTBUH” are not included in the list of tallest buildings in the world. For readers, we have internationally recognized ten tallest buildings in the world.
1. BURJ KHALIFA

4. ABRAAJ AL-BAIT CLOCK TOWERS

10. CHINA ZUN
With a height of 1731 feet, Beijing, China’s “China Zun” ranks as the tenth-tallest structure in the world. The total area of the building is 46 lakh square feet. Apart from 109 upper floors, there are also eight underground floors in the building.
11. TAIPEI-101
“Taipei-101”, Taiwan, is in 11th Position. The construction of this 101-story building was started in 1999.
The height of this building is 1,671 feet. The tower houses commercial offices for which 61 lifts have been installed in the building. Two extremely quick elevators take guests from the fifth floor to the observatory on the 89th floor of the structure in under 37 seconds.
12. SHANGHAI WORLD FINANCIAL CENTER
The 12th highest structure in the world is the “Shanghai World Financial Centre” which is also located in China, It has its unique101-story structure, which cost $1.20 billion to construct, has 1,614 feet of height, and consists of hotel floors, office floors, conference rooms, observation decks, and shopping floors.
The building has 174 comfortable hotel suites from the 79th floor to the 93rd floor and this hotel also holds the distinction of being the second tallest hotel in the world.
This structure’s first stone was placed in 1997, and it was officially opened in 2008, earning the distinction of “Best Completed Skyscraper of the Year” in the process.
